J-Hope, Blackpink, NewJeans, USA's Rolling Stone's 'Best Album Of The Year'

J-Hope, a member of the global super group BTS, K-Pop Sign Blackpink, and the representative of the fourth-generation K-Pop girl group NewJeans were named on the "Best Album Of The Year" selected by the prestigious US Music Media, Rolling Stone.

J-Hope's first full-length solo album "Jack In The Box" and Blackpink's second full-length album "Born Pink" were ranked ninth, 25th, and 46th, respectively, on Rolling Stone's "Top 100 of the year" released on the 1st (local time).

Rolling Stone pointed out that J-Hope was the first BTS member to perform solo, and saw that "Jack In The Box" raised the standard for the team's solo activities. He said, "J-Hope named his activity in the Pandora Box's 'Hope' that remained until the end. It's a creative debut. Fans will not be disappointed with his music career in the future, he added.

As for BLACKPINK, it has long dominated K-Pop with "Love-style girls," but it exploded into "Rock Queen" with "Born Pink." As for the pre-released song "Pink Venom" of "Born Pink," I heard that "Sunset Strip" boasts a glam metal thunder, and the title song "Shut Down" boasts Paganini's trap beat and classical violin loop. However, "Yes yes yes yes" full of the U.S. post-punk rock band "Strokes" style guitar and fierce energy is the best track, and "Born Pink" said it has the obvious charm of the music BLACKPINK has mad so far.

As for NewJeans' debut album, he said, "There is no doubt that it has been a sensation this year. In a total of less than 13 minutes, each of the four tracks features unique sound and fresh visual element. It has a solid foundation for evolution and growth with the latest K-Pop," he said.

In addition, U.S. pop star Beyonce's 7th album "Renaissance" ranked first, Latin pop star Bad Bernie's "Un Verano Cinty" ranked second, and American pop superstar Taylor Swift's 10th regular album "Midnights" ranked third. In addition, the fifth full-length album "Cool It Down," released by American indie rock legend "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeahs," which includes Korean vocalist Karen O, ranked 54th.
